Our wonderful friends at Heath & Mud do an incredible job of fundraising for lots of different causes. During this latest glut of heatwaves they are doing a special push to raise money to help tackle the wildfires that are sadly becoming more common in the Peak District.
This ticket* puts you in the running to win one of three beautiful prizes. All created by the team behind one of our favourite Zines.
Five Wells Cyanotype - “This is an 8x6" (20x15cm) Cyanotype Print of the Five Wells Neolithic chambered tomb.
It's printed on watercolour paper, using the sun for exposure. I made the negative from a photograph that I took at the tomb.
It has an information slip in the back that contains details about Five Wells and the Cyanotype printmaking process.”
The Philosophers Hand - “This is an A5 lino print of the Philosopher's Hand, a 15th Century design that represents alchemy. It's printed on printmaking paper, using Cranfield Gold ink, which had a lovely shine to it. It credits me as "calcs.", which I used before Heath and Mud existed.
This was an open edition, but due to the age of the print, this is unlikely to be reprinted.”
A full collection of Heath & Mud zine - As released thus far. Issues 1-4 and the special A6 zine “Bleaklow”
All proceeds will be donated to the Peak District Foundation Wildfire Appeal (Via the team at Heath & Mud) Hopefully we can add a good boost to the pot.
*Like in any raffle this ticket doesn’t guarantee you a prize. But it’s for a brilliant cause…. so there we go.
ENTRIES CLOSE WED 15TH OF JULY 2026.
Prizes to be drawn thursday 16th of July 2026.
